When the bongo drum sings and alerts the community that it is time to conceal themselves from the threats of darkness, Gardenia’s secret lover emerges  in pursuit for his queen. As she waits for her lover with fear, his sight is exceptional. The forest watches for it is known that Gardenia is already engaged.. What happens when she gets married to another? Only the vibrant drums will know the secret and they shall never tell, but a secret bird watching brought the old tale to life in this painting.
